Built on years of experience
Premier Builders, Inc., is the flagship company of the
Mills Family of Home Builders. Founded in 1993 by Bob Mills, Premier Builders
has constructed homes in a wide price range throughout the Des Moines metro
area. A native of West Des Moines, Bob is a second-generation construction
professional, following the tradition of quality established by his father,
George Mills. Today the Mills family of Home Builders includes Premier
Builders, Hearthside Homes, Sunrise Construction, and Infinity Homes. These
companies have developed a reputation for offering quality construction,
excellent value and unbeatable service.
Creating the complete home
It all begins with our “complete home” concept. Each
Mills Family of Home Builder’s home is designed to include all the
features you need to have a complete home. Instead of offering upgrades
at an additional cost, we make these features standard, from the microwave
to the garage door opener to the fully-sodded yard.
Want to add a bathroom to your basement? No problem. We
include stub-ins that make the process easy. Do you like the extra
design elements that add style to your home? We include wood trim on
all the doors and windows as standard feature.
Homeowners like options too, so we don't limit your
choices to a few lighting packages or limited flooring packages. You
are provided an allowance to spend at our vendors for these items. Our
design center at our Urbandale office provides an array of options where
you can pick the perfect cabinets, plumbing fixtures and more to personalize
your new home.
We’ll listen to your needs to adapt our “Complete
Home” system for your new home. Count on us to work closely with you
and communicate often throughout the building process. We strive to
make building your home as user-friendly and uncomplicated as possible.
Taking a team approach
To ensure the quality of your new home, the Mills Family
of Home Builders maintains many long-term partnerships with well-known, trusted
Des Moines area vendors and sub-contractors. We’ll work with
them to make sure your home includes the best products available at the best
price.
In addition, many of these suppliers have been with us
from the time we built our first house, resulting in a streamlined process
that helps ensure your home is built and finished in a timely manner.
Providing peace of mind
The Mills Family of Home Builders focus on service doesn’t
stop once your home is completed. Your 1 year home warranty provides
for regular opportunities for you to communicate warranty issues and we staff
a team of professionals who are dedicated to handling warranty work. In
addition, we provide an emergency service hotline that’s available
to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
